How can you support Bob Myhr?

About this race

Bob won the Democratic Primary election on September 20, 2005. On September 27, The Board of County Commissioners appointed Bob as the interim Commissioner from District #3 replacing Rhea Miller. Bob won the general election November 8 making him the permanent replacement for Rhea through the end of her term in 2006. Bob is running (unopposed) for reelection in November 2006.

Since Bob is unopposed, Bob's campaign will focus on community outreach so that all of his constituents can get to know him better.

Ways you can help:

Donate: Campaigns are always expensive with the cost of printing, mailing, and advertising. So any amount of money large or small, is appreciated and will be put to good use.

Donations can be sent to: Committee To Re-Elect Bob Myhr, PO Box 344, Lopez Island, WA 98261. Please include with your contribution your occupation, name & address of employer, or indicate retired or self-employed. This information is required for reporting of campaign contributions.

Write letters: Letters to the editor of the local newspapers are an effective and free method of support. If you would like to send a letter, please send us a copy and the date you send it. The email addresses for the editors of the papers are:

Show your support: Give us permission to use your name as a supporter in an ad. Wear a Bob Myhr button - call us to pick up one or more to hand out. We also have handout literature.

Signs: We have yard signs available – let us know if you would like one to put up on your property.

Spread the word: The biggest help is to talk with your friends, neighbors and acquaintances about Bob’s qualifications and why you are voting for him. Spread the word!
